Emble was a project which had so much potential. The idea came from an intelligent entrepreneur. I helped take the concept from a real world problem into a digital product development. The application is designed to solve the problem of organising events with friends. Organising and voting on crowd sourced ideas and then creating a cash pool for the decision.

The application was built around principles of being implicit with high visual design. The functionality was big and bold and simple.

The product had some technical complexities such as cash pools - storing money in a pot which is contributed by a collection of users. The cash pools need to returned to a single user with the application and the supplier taking commissions. There was also the need to integrate with all social medias to provide a virtual contact book of your friends across all social media connections.

My role within the project was a combination of developer on the tools and developing the core direction of the features and functions of the application. I was awarded a shareholding position as my role evolved into shaping the direction of future releases and developments.

The product is currently dormant as number of tools came into this market space, however I feel this application could still have a place.
