Revitalised is a B2B organisation providing products and development services to organisations wishing to provide employees health and wellbeing advice via a self-help portal. My role was to manage the architecture, strategy and roadmap for the core application. I also had to manage the team of designers, developers and project managers as well help develop the core business strategy and direction.

Starting as a technical developer, my role evolved into managing security assessments with all suppliers, annual security audits, quoting and architecting solutions for clients and feature developments.

As a director I contributed to the business strategy, sales process and the decisions regarding the direction of the organisation. Resulting in the reward of shareholding in the business.

The development of the application has been the cornerstone of my working life. It has been a project which has taken up almost 10 years: many versions, multiple pivots and lots of sweat and tears. The application has been written in multiple programming languages (VB, C# and PHP) and utilising various business level frameworks.

The application was built in such a manner that it could be split into multiple modules, with various configurations, resulting in white label solutions. It was built and written completely from scratch to provide health and wellbeing tools to many organisations, from SMEs to major blue chip brands.

During 2017 the company was sold. As part of the sale, I participated in the technical due diligence role. By this time the application and infrastructure had matured to run on a complex cloud hosting environment. The application had regular process driven releases and various security and data privacy models protecting the users and the clients.
